Ingredients

- 1 cup fresh strawberries, hulled (or frozen)
- 2–3 Medjool dates, pitted
- 1 cup almond milk (or your preferred milk)
- ½ cup plain yogurt (optional for creaminess)
- 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup (optional, for added sweetness)
- Ice cubes (optional, for a chilled smoothie)
Instructions
- Gather all the ingredients and ensure the strawberries are hulled and the dates are pitted.
- In a blender, add the fresh strawberries, dates, almond milk, and yogurt if using.
- If you prefer a cold smoothie, add ice cubes to the blender.
- Blend the mixture on high speed for about 2 minutes or until smooth and creamy. You may need to stop and scrape down the sides of the blender once or twice.
- Give it a taste and add honey or maple syrup if you want it sweeter. Blend again briefly to incorporate.
- Pour the smoothie into a glass or bowls and enjoy your refreshing drink immediately.
