Description

This delicious keto pizza features a low-carb crust made with almond flour and cheese, perfect for satisfying pizza cravings while keeping carbs in check.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 ½ cups Shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 2 oz Cream cheese (cubed)
  • 1 cup Almond flour
  • 1 large Egg
  • ½ tsp Baking powder
  • ½ tsp Garlic powder (optional)
  • ½ tsp Italian seasoning (optional)
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a baking sheet or pizza pan with parchment paper to prevent sticking.
  2. In a microwave-safe bowl, combine 1 ½ cups of shredded mozzarella cheese and 2 oz of cubed cream cheese. Microwave on high for about 1 minute.
  3. Stir the mixture, then heat for another 30 seconds. You’ll know it’s ready when the cheeses are fully melted and smooth without lumps.
  4. Add 1 cup of almond flour, ½ tsp of baking powder, ½ tsp of garlic powder (if using), ½ tsp of Italian seasoning (if using), and a pinch of salt into the melted cheese mixture. Mix until well combined; the dough will be sticky.
  5. Allow the mixture to cool slightly, then add 1 large egg. Mix thoroughly until a cohesive dough forms. If it’s too sticky to handle, sprinkle in a little more almond flour.
  6. Transfer the dough onto the prepared baking sheet. Using your hands or a rolling pin, press it out into a circle or your desired pizza shape, aiming for about 1/4 inch thickness. Avoid making it too thick, as it may not cook evenly.
  7. Add your favorite keto-friendly toppings — think sauce, cheese, meats, or veggies. Be careful not to overload it, as too many toppings can make the crust soggy.
  8. Bake the pizza in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes. Look for a golden brown crust that’s firm to the touch and melted, bubbly cheese on top.
  9. Once baked, let the pizza cool for a few minutes before slicing. This will help the crust firm up a bit more, making it easier to handle. Enjoy your keto pizza!
