Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter (melted)
  • 2 cups peeled and chopped apples (preferably Honeycrisp or Fuji)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, beat the eggs and mix in melted butter until combined.
  4. Fold the wet mixture into the dry ingredients and gently incorporate the chopped apples.
  5. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and bake for 60-70 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  6. Let cool for about 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
