Description
A quick and healthy stir-fry with broccoli and chickpeas.
Ingredients

- 2 cups (300g) broccoli florets
- 1 cup (200g) cooked chickpeas
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons (30ml) vegetable oil
- 1 tablespoon (15ml) soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon (5ml) sesame oil
- 1/2 teaspoon (2) ground black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon (1) salt
Instructions
- Heat vegetable oil in a large pan or wok over medium-high heat.
- Add minced garlic and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Add broccoli florets and stir-fry for 4-5 minutes until bright green and tender-crisp.
- Add chickpeas and continue stir-frying for 2-3 minutes until heated through.
- Reduce heat to low, then add soy sauce, sesame oil, black pepper, and salt.
- Toss everything together until well combined and coated with the sauce.
- Serve immediately while hot.
Notes
- For extra flavor, consider adding crushed red pepper flakes.
- Serve over rice or noodles for a complete meal.
