A delicious dessert made with fresh strawberries and cream cheese.

- 2 cups fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
- 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup milk
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, combine the strawberries with 1/4 cup of sugar and set aside.
- In another bowl, mix the cream cheese and the remaining sugar until smooth.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt.
- Add the milk and melted butter to the dry ingredients, and mix until just combined.
- Spread the batter into a greased baking dish.
- Evenly distribute the strawberry mixture on top of the batter.
- Bake for 40-45 minutes or until the top is golden brown.
- Let cool slightly before serving.
Notes
- Adjust the amount of sugar according to the sweetness of the strawberries.
- This dessert can be served warm or chilled.
