Description
A quick and delicious skillet lasagna made with ground beef, marinara sauce, and plenty of cheese.
Ingredients

- 1 lb ground beef or sausage
- 9 oz no-boil lasagna noodles (broken into pieces)
- 24 oz marinara sauce
- 15 oz ricotta cheese
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup fresh basil (for garnish)
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic (minced)
- 1 small onion (chopped)
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add ground beef or sausage and cook until browned.
- Stir in garlic and onion; sauté until translucent, about 3–4 minutes.
- Add marinara sauce and simmer for about 5 minutes.
- Break lasagna noodles into pieces and layer them in the skillet. Dollop ricotta cheese on top and sprinkle mozzarella evenly.
- Cover the skillet and lower the heat to let simmer for 20–25 minutes until noodles are tender and cheese is bubbly.
- Remove from heat, add Parmesan, garnish with basil, and serve hot.
Notes
- This dish can be prepared in advance and reheated for a quick meal.
- Feel free to substitute the ground beef with turkey or other meats as desired.
