Description

A quick and delicious skillet lasagna made with ground beef, marinara sauce, and plenty of cheese.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb ground beef or sausage
  • 9 oz no-boil lasagna noodles (broken into pieces)
  • 24 oz marinara sauce
  • 15 oz ricotta cheese
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup fresh basil (for garnish)
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 small onion (chopped)

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add ground beef or sausage and cook until browned.
  2. Stir in garlic and onion; sauté until translucent, about 3–4 minutes.
  3. Add marinara sauce and simmer for about 5 minutes.
  4. Break lasagna noodles into pieces and layer them in the skillet. Dollop ricotta cheese on top and sprinkle mozzarella evenly.
  5. Cover the skillet and lower the heat to let simmer for 20–25 minutes until noodles are tender and cheese is bubbly.
  6. Remove from heat, add Parmesan, garnish with basil, and serve hot.

Notes

  • This dish can be prepared in advance and reheated for a quick meal.
  • Feel free to substitute the ground beef with turkey or other meats as desired.
