- 1 French baguette (sliced diagonally into 12 pieces)
- 2 ripe Bosc or Anjou pears (thinly sliced)
- 4 oz goat cheese (softened)
- 1/2 cup walnuts (toasted and roughly chopped)
- 2 tbsp honey
- 2 tbsp balsamic glaze
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Arrange baguette slices on the baking sheet; brush one side with olive oil and toast for 8-10 minutes until golden brown.
- While the bread is toasting, prepare the pears and walnuts.
- Spread goat cheese generously on each toasted slice, then top with pear slices and chopped walnuts.
- Drizzle honey and balsamic glaze over each piece before serving warm.
Notes
- For extra flavor, consider adding a sprinkle of sea salt on top before serving.
- Can be made ahead of time, just toast the baguette and assemble right before serving.
