Ingredients

  • 2 cups elbow macaroni
  • 2 cups low-sodium beef broth
  • 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1 medium onion (diced)
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)

  • to taste paprika
  • to taste Italian seasoning
  • optional bell peppers or peas

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef until fully cooked; break apart as it cooks.
  2. Add the diced onion and cook until soft; stir in minced garlic until fragrant.
  3. Pour in beef broth and add pasta; bring to a simmer while stirring gently.
  4. Season with salt, pepper, paprika, and Italian seasoning to taste.
  5. Once pasta is tender (about 10-12 minutes), lower heat and stir in shredded cheddar cheese until melted and creamy.
  6. Serve hot, garnished with fresh herbs if desired.
