Delicious puff pastry pinwheels filled with ham and cheese, perfect as an appetizer or snack.

- 1 sheet puff pastry (thawed if frozen)
- 6–8 slices deli ham
- 6–8 slices cheddar or Swiss cheese
- 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
- 1 tsp Dijon mustard (optional)
- 1 tbsp poppy seeds or sesame seeds (optional topping)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Roll out puff pastry on a lightly floured surface. Spread Dijon mustard if using.
- Layer ham and cheese evenly over the pastry.
- Starting from one edge, roll tightly into a log.
- Slice log into ½–¾ inch pinwheels and place on prepared baking sheet.
- Brush tops with beaten egg and sprinkle seeds if desired.
- Bake 15–18 minutes, or until golden brown and cheese is melted.
- Cool slightly before serving.

- Ensure the pastry is fully thawed for easy rolling.
