Description

This garlic bread is a delicious side that perfectly complements any meal.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 loaf French or Italian bread
  • ½ cup salted butter (softened or olive oil)
  • 4 garlic cloves (minced or 1 tsp garlic powder)
  • 2 Tbsp chopped parsley (or 1 tsp dried)
  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or foil.
  2. Mix butter, garlic, parsley, and Parmesan in a bowl until smooth.
  3. Slice bread in half lengthwise or into thick slices.
  4. Spread garlic butter evenly on cut sides of bread.
  5. Bake for 5 minutes, or until edges are golden and butter is melted.
  6. Broil for 1–2 minutes for a crispy top.
  7. Slice and serve warm.

Notes

  • For an extra kick, you can add red pepper flakes to the garlic butter mixture.
  • Store any leftover garlic bread in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
