This garlic bread is a delicious side that perfectly complements any meal.

- 1 loaf French or Italian bread
- ½ cup salted butter (softened or olive oil)
- 4 garlic cloves (minced or 1 tsp garlic powder)
- 2 Tbsp chopped parsley (or 1 tsp dried)
- ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or foil.
- Mix butter, garlic, parsley, and Parmesan in a bowl until smooth.
- Slice bread in half lengthwise or into thick slices.
- Spread garlic butter evenly on cut sides of bread.
- Bake for 5 minutes, or until edges are golden and butter is melted.
- Broil for 1–2 minutes for a crispy top.
- Slice and serve warm.
Notes
- For an extra kick, you can add red pepper flakes to the garlic butter mixture.
- Store any leftover garlic bread in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
