Ingredients

- 1 pound ground beef
- 4 medium potatoes, sliced
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1 cup shredded cheese
- 1 onion, chopped

Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Place the seasoned ground beef at the bottom of a layered casserole dish.
- Add a layer of sliced potatoes on top of the beef.
- Sprinkle the chopped onion over the potatoes.
- Pour the cream of mushroom soup evenly over the layers.
- Add any desired additional vegetables.
- Top with shredded cheese.
- Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake for 1 hour.
- Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Let it cool slightly before serving.
