- 1 cup buttermilk
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper

- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup cornstarch
- 1 egg
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 1 teaspoon hot sauce
- 4 brioche buns
- 2 cups shredded lettuce
- 1 tomato, sliced
- 1/4 cup pickles, sliced
- Vegetable oil for frying
Instructions
- Place the chicken breasts in a bowl with buttermilk, salt, black pepper, paprika, and garlic powder. Let marinate for at least 1 hour.
- In a separate bowl, mix flour and cornstarch.
- Beat the egg in another bowl.
- Heat oil in a deep pan over medium-high heat.
- Dredge each chicken breast in flour, dip in egg, then coat in flour again.
- Fry the chicken until golden brown and fully cooked, about 5-7 minutes per side.
- Mix mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, and hot sauce to create the sauce.
- Toast the brioche buns lightly.
- Assemble the sandwich by spreading sauce on the bun, adding lettuce, tomato, fried chicken, pickles, and the top bun.
- Serve immediately and enjoy!
